PROFILE

Thulani Mashiyane has stepped into Gaffer roles on Taktiek 2, Hen and Landmyn with Nagvlug Films, following years in lighting crews on local and international productions. His Best Boy Gaffer work includes Huntington with Lesley Manuel and Sniper: The Last Stand, African Queens, Devil’s Peak and Wild Is the Wind with Brent Sauls.

That progression also runs through his short-form work, with Gaffer credits on Garnier, Future Tense and A Matter of Principle alongside a substantial commercial background as Best Boy Gaffer. Thulani continues to work across on-set lighting and rigging, with recent Rigging Spark assignments on Monsanto, Sniper 12 and the Zoan Unit of Project Arcadia.
